Back in the U.S.A.
I can't believe it's been almost a month since I was able to blog! We are now back in the United States, but stuck in San Francisco. Getting back to Fort Lauderdale flying stand-by was a little challenging yesterday. My husband's dad was a pilot for United, so we were able to use his stand-by tickets for most of this trip.
Here's the summary of what we did:

Welcome home and happy blogiversary -- just so happens we share a blog birthday! Looking forward to reading more about your time in Vietnam. I've only been there once, for a visit, but loved it.
Welcome home!
I would love to visit Singapore one day. The people are so nice.
I'm so happy you had a great time! I can't wait to hear all the stories and hear about your foodie adventures! =)
xoxo
All parts of travel are an adventure.
My return last week with a delayed plane got me into DFW at 2am (should have been 1230am) and no luggage until after 330am!
Next night I picked up my husband at the same airport. Plane got in at 1230am, luggage was on the belt at 1245am. He was on the plane at the gate until 130am!
Got to love it.
Look forward to the sorting out you do.
Lydia: How cool that we have the same blog b-day. I adored vietnam, and the food was even better than anticipated.
Anna: The people in singapore are very nice and there are lots of English speakers. It has a wonderful, diverse array of awesome food and it's a great jumping off point for traveling around Southeast Asia.
Lis: I can't wait to write about it all! We've been going and going non-stop, so the blog now forces me to stop and take it all in.
Tanna: Air travel sure is a doozy. If you're not prepared to have your plans totally tripped up and be hassled by security every single time, then never fly stand-by! Waiting on the plane at the gate has to be the worst thing, though. Our luggage arrived in FT.Laud. about 36 hours before we did, so we were just happy to get it at all!
